The Board of Directors and the management of TNB are  committed to corporate citizenship through support to identified Children Homes and Education.

TNB supports identified Children Homes in a small way at each of the locations where TNB has a branch. Where there is no Children Home near a TNB Branch, then a suitable activity in support of the needy is identified for support.

TNB provides two scholarships through Kabarak University to needy bright students coming from the local communities one of which will be a female student. Those interested to get the scholarship should make application to the university who have the mandate to decide on the same.

TNB maintains corporate membership of East African Wild Life Society to recognize the role played by the society in the wild-life conservation.
